The Virginia Radio Coop stations are all non-profit independent and volunteer driven. As such, we are especially glad to help other non-profit and charitable organizations promote their events on the air with Public Service Announcements (PSA) and on our on-line events calendar! We do reserve the right to edit any submissions and there may be times that we are unable to fulfill a listing request but we will do our best to work with you. You must be a non-profit organization (501c(3) status is not required) and you must not be paying other stations or media to promote your event.
In addition to 97.9 WREN, the Virginia Radio Coop provides offices, the transmitter site, and services for three fully independent non-commercial radio stations including Rock Hits 92.3, Real Oldies 97.9 The WREN and 101.3 WVAI Charlottesville’s Hip Hop and R&B radio station. Your submission here at 97.9 WREN is being submitted to these other stations as well. There is no cost for this service!
