Sunday Morning Talk
Good radio should be more than just music! WREN has thus added a small group of quality public radio shows about religion, science, and politics on Sunday morning.
5:30 AM – “Music & the Spoken Word” – A half hour of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir with special guests and a small amount of commentary.
6:00 AM – “Inspired” with Amber Kahn is an independent public radio show from Interfaith Radio. This show fosters interfaith understanding by providing engaging conversation about religion, across many traditions and beliefs.
7:00 AM – “Left, Right & Center” is KCRW’s weekly civilized yet provocative confrontation over politics, policy and pop culture. This is not a a one sided political program or a shouting match to be clear!
8:00 AM – “Big Picture Science” comes to you from the SETI Institute. Seth Shostak and Molly Bentley have fun drawing surprising connections between the latest science and technology research to give you the Big Picture
We round out Sunday morning with two music shows: Brad Savage’s “Cruisin’ The Decades” covering 100 years of music in just one hour at 9 AM and a repeat of the locally produced “Mike & Murphy Feature Friday Special” at 10 AM.
